2007 Danny (The Dude) Lasoski Michael Ross Foundation Sprint
The Michael Ross Memorial Foundation and its investment fund were founded by Tony and Kathy Ross of American Compressed Steel, Inc, longtime supporters and close friends of Danny Lasoski, in honor of their son, Michael Paul Ross, who passed away in 1990 from a rare genetic disorder known as Tay-Sachs disease. The foundation helps support the Baycliff Health Camp in Big Bay, Michigan, which serves severely handicapped children ages 3-13 with a 6 week summer camp program. Tpny Ross has been actively involved with the camp when he previously resided in Michigan and after the passing of his beloved son, felt it was only natural to maintain that relationship. After much prodding and help from Lasoski, along with Steve Kinser and others, an annual celebrity charity golf tournament and dirt race was established. Each year the event brings together big name racers from all forms of racing, including Outlaws sprint cars, Nascar and NHRA. Through all the efforts of the Michael Ross Foundation, donations totaling more than $850,000 have been raised for the Baycliff Health Camp. PREORDER!! Release August 2007. Credit card will not be charged until shipped.
